Maria Maurer

Maria was born on January 23rd, 1814 and her baptism took place on February 4th, 1814 in Wichtrach.¹ Maria's father was Christen Maurer and her mother was Anna Strahm. Her paternal grandparents were Hans Maurer and Anna, Schüpbach; her maternal grandparents were Bendicht Strahm and Anna Jenni. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Christen, Hans, Bendicht, Samuel, Anna, Elisabeth, Barbara and Magdalena. She was the seventh oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 40 on April 8th, 1854.
