August Wälti

August was born on August 9th, 1852.¹ August's father was Jakob Wälti and his mother was Maria Krähenbühl. His paternal grandparents were Christen Wälti and Barbara Aeschlimann. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Jakob Robert, Gottlieb Arnold, Moriz, Elsbeth, Maria Lina and Anna Maria Lina. He was the fifth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 56 on May 6th, 1909.¹
