Christen Wälti

Christen was born on March 9th, 1855.¹ Christen's father was Christen Wälti and his mother was Rosina Luginbühl. His paternal grandparents were Christen Wälti and Maria Steiner. He had five brothers and ten sisters, named Christen, Hans, Friedrich, Johannes, Friedrich(?), Elisabeth, Maria, Rosina, Anna Barbara, Magdalena, Verena, Catharina, Anna Maria, Anna and Margreth. He was the fourteenth oldest of the sixteen children. He died at the age of 78 on July 28th, 1933 in Münsingen.¹
