Christen Wälti

Christen was born in July 1606 and his baptism took place on July 20th, 1606 in Rüderswil.¹ Christen's father was Hans (?) Wälti and his mother was Christina Steinmann. His paternal grandfather is aaa Rüderswil Wälti. He has three brothers and two sisters, named Peter, Ulrich, Michael, Anna and Elsbeth. He is the oldest of the six children.
