Jakob Wälti

Jakob was born on August 28th, 1859 in Thörigen and his baptism took place on September 25th, 1859 in Herzogenbuchsee.¹ Jakob's father was Jakob Wälti and his mother was Elisabeth Sägesser. His paternal grandparents were Hans (Johannes) Wälti and Anna Maria Bösiger. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Johannes Gottfried, Friedrich, Ernst, Martha and Lina Anna. He is the second oldest of the six children.
