Margret was born on July 8th, 1708 and her baptism took place on July 8th, 1708 in Rüderswil.1 2   Margret's father was Christen Wälti and her mother is Barbara Wälti.  Her paternal grandparents were Michel Wälti and Barbara Moser; her maternal grandparents were Hans Wälti and Madlena Roth. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Ulrich, Michael, Christen, Michael, Hans, Madlen, Barbara, Anna and Anna.  She was the nineth oldest of the ten children.  She died before 1734.3
