Verena Wälti

Verena was born on April 16th, 1824 in Bagischwand.¹ Verena's father is Hans Wälti and her mother is Christina Gerber. Her paternal grandparents were Niclaus Wälti and Christina Badertscher. She had six brothers and a sister, named Hans, Peter, Christen, Friedrich, Elsbeth, Ulrich and Anna Barbara. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 72 on September 8th, 1896 in USA.²
