Jakob Jakob

Jakob was born on July 28th, 1859 in Lauperswil and his baptism took place there on August 21st, 1859.¹ Jakob's father was Christian Jakob and his mother was Maria Probst. His paternal grandparents were Hans Jakob and Anna Kipfer; his maternal grandfather is Johann Ulrich Probst and his maternal grandmother was Maria Bachmann. He was an only child. He died due to Alzheimer at the age of 84 on November 21st, 1943 in Münsingen.¹
