Elisabeth was born on October 24th, 1854 and her baptism took place on November 26th, 1854 in Langnau i.E..1   Elisabeth's father was Johannes Siegenthaler and her mother was Elisabeth Leuenberger.  Her paternal grandparents were Johannes Siegenthaler and Barbara Baumgartner; her maternal grandfather is Christen Leuenberger and her maternal grandmother was Magdalena Ryser.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 71 on June 3rd, 1926 in Langnau i.E..
